Among the clinics we checked in Dubai, 67% of aesthetic and skin clinics and 56% of medical clinics already carry Google Ads tracking. Most of them are competing for the same few expensive searches, and most of them are advertising without anyone in the building able to see what the ads returned.
This is the part most agencies blur, so we will be exact about the edges of what we know.
The DHA publishes a written standard for medical advertisement content: Standards for Medical Advertisement Content on Social Media, code DHA/HRS/HPSD/ST-21, version 1.1, issued 03/08/2022 and effective 03/10/2022. We read the primary document in full. Its stated scope is social media advertisements by DHA-licensed health facilities and healthcare professionals, set out in its own clauses 3.1 and 4.1.
Some of what it requires is worth knowing whatever surface you advertise on, because it describes how the regulator thinks:
Clinic keywords are among the most expensive in the market, because one patient is worth a great deal and every clinic in the same square kilometre knows it. That pushes the cost per click up for everyone and makes the difference between a well-built campaign and a rough one much larger than it would be in a cheaper category.
Our price is one fixed monthly figure with the ad spend included, not a share of what you spend. An agency paid a percentage earns more when your budget rises, whether or not anything improves. That is not an accusation about any particular firm; it is just what the arrangement rewards. See flat fee versus percent of spend, our Google AI Ads pricing, and how we work as a Google Ads agency in Dubai.
An ad reads the same business information that Google and the AI assistants read: the clinic name, the address, the category, the hours, the services. When that disagrees across the internet, the ad spends money badly. That is why we do not sell advertising on its own, and why the work underneath it keeps returning value after a campaign stops. See clinic AI visibility in Dubai for the organic side.
The DHA standard we have read in full, Standards for Medical Advertisement Content on Social Media (DHA/HRS/HPSD/ST-21, version 1.1, effective 03/10/2022), states its own scope as social media advertisements by DHA-licensed facilities and professionals, in clauses 3.1 and 4.1. We do not state that it governs Google Ads or website copy. Other instruments may apply to those surfaces, including MOHAP advertising permits and Federal Law No. 4 of 2016, and we have not read those against a primary source. This is not legal advice; your Medical Director and the DHA are the authority.
Clause 6.11 prohibits absolute statements and exaggerated claims, giving examples including the best, the only, safest, assured success, has no side effects and immediate results. Clause 6.6 requires outcome claims to be substantiated, whether implied or explicit, and to include the associated risks.
In our own scan on 19 September 2026, 67% of 48 aesthetic and skin clinics and 56% of 52 medical clinics with reachable websites carried Google Ads conversion tracking. A tag evidences advertising infrastructure rather than a live campaign, so treat it as a floor rather than a precise count.
No. We never promise a position, a number of clicks or a number of patients. Advertising is bought attention, not a guaranteed outcome.
Because the ad reads the business information that search and AI assistants also read. If the name, address, category and services disagree across the internet, the ad spends money on the wrong people and bidding does not fix it.
